Connor
FOUNDER
Connor is an avid reader of fantasy and monster romance. An author herself, she loves the written word almost as much as she loves her wife, August. She graduated with a BA in English from the University of Central Florida. Her greatest passions are self-expression and small business, and a lifelong goal has been to open a bookstore. When she’s not working on Moonstruck, she’s writing, reading, or getting scratched by her cat.

August
CO-FOUNDER
As a local to this area and a lifelong book lover, August has had the dream to find a welcoming space for everyone. Somewhere that she could connect with others who share her love of reading romantasy and queer stories. Little did she know that someday, she would be lucky enough to find someone with that same dream, but who also had a vision of creating that place for their community. August is a hairstylist in the Eau Gallie Arts District, and finds the most joy in connecting with others.

We hope to open our doors in the Eau Gallie Arts District by the end of 2025!

Yes! In 2023, Moonstruck Market launched and gained a lot of traction and support from our community, but the right space never manifested. Now, two years later, we reevaluated and decided that now is the right time to pursue this dream again. We’ve assembled an incredible team, the circumstances are right, and this type of community space is needed now more than ever.

We carry both new and used books. Our used books are donations provided by our generous community members like you! Before we open, you can drop off book donations at Thrive Local EGAD (1416 Highland Ave).
